I remember when I was maybe 12 or 13 my Dad bought me my first folding pocket knife: a Kershaw Scallion.
I love that knife. I still have it, and it's the blade that started it all for me. I think it's the perfect "first knife" for any responsible young boy or girl.
So here is what I propose. I want to giveaway this Kershaw Scallion 1620NC2. But I would prefer that whoever wins this knife will then give it away to their son/daughter, grandson/grandaughter, nephew/niece, or any responsible young boy or girl they know of who may like it. My hope is they'll like it as much as I did when I was young.
So if you have someone in mind who you'd like to gift this little knife to please say so in this thread. I'll ship anywhere in the world.
To enter just tell me about who you have in mind in a sentence or two.
Something like, "I'm in, I think my grandson will love this".
This particular Nascar Scallion is actually pretty rare. I bought a knife lot on eBay and this was included. It has never been carried or used, it's just been sitting around for a long time. It has a few tiny specks of corrosion on the clip, but other than that it's basically brand new. I just don't have the original box.
I'll let it go a week from now at 8:00pm, and then I'll compile the list of entries and select a winner at random.
