Kershaw 1050N Help

Does anybody know anything about this rare Kershaw? It is made exactly like the standard 1050 except it has cocobolo scales and nickel silver bolsters.
The blade is stamped Seki-Japan. It was not made for sale in the U.S. as far as I know. Would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

I saw one sell on the Bay a few days ago. Fetched around $200.
The standard 1050 is made in Japan as well. I have no idea how many were made.
