Hello Folks,

I bought this knife about 12 to 15 years ago and keep it in my rotation. I was wondering if anyone remembers it and what their thoughts were on it.

Thanks,

Bash

Is that the Titanium Starky Ridge ?

I have the 1410 and love it. Great little knife.

Some people equated it to a "poor mans" Sebenza. I personally don't think that it does, but it is a rather large knife though with maybe a similar footprint. It has a serrated hump on the back of the blade near the handle for what I would think would be useful for opening with gloves.

Thanks,

Bash

Although I have never seen one , it is the same knife as the 1415 only larger XXL version . They were all awesome workhorse knives and all discontinued around 1998, about the time Ken Onion made his appearance with Kershaw. I told a couple of people that they had read the model number wrong until I realized that is was indeed what it was, and that I just hadn't seen it yet. They are rare and I would have to say very collectible because they are rare. Please post photos with some type of size comparison if possible. Thanks.

I like the 1416 XXL Starkey Ridge, I've got 4 of them. I carry one most days. It's got a nice pointy point and lots of belly in the blade. It's easy to open and close one-handed.

That's what I like about the knife , the blade shape is the best part , belly and point. :D
