Kershaw 1800 Mini Mojo

I've had one for a few years now , It's like a mini-spec bump ( same type of locking mechanism) , but it has a very unique safety. The safety is part of the blade "flipper", you have to push on the safety at the same time for the flipper to open the blade. It's an assisted opening knife and it works well.

It's a small knife and to honest it's not one of my favorites, only because it's so small, but I use it sometimes to carry to the office ( it's small enough to carry in the pocket).

Fit & finish is typical Kershaw quality ( perfect) , $33 is a fair price.

I have one, which I carry often, especially in sheeple-dense locations.

I was a cool to it at first, although I like it's larger kin. Things improved once I modded it, somewhat; by removing the clip and applying skateboard tread to look like the traction grip on the other side. Then I added a braided lanyard to extend the handle. (I can use the lanyard like a watch-fob, to pull the knife from my pocket.)

It takes a typical Kershaw screaming sharp edge, and that blade shape cuts way beyond its size.

All in all, a very efficient, low-profile, urban EDC.

The Offset and the Spec/Speed Bump are Kershaws larger folders that also feature the stud lock. I think he may have been thinking of the relationship between the Boa and the Baby Boa.

Actually, I was thinking of the Offset. Not the same blade or safety, but same lock and same designer. (It was the stud-lock that attracted me to the mini mojo.)
