Can anyone tell me what years the 2230 Lil Skinner was produced? I haven't been able to find much information so far.
Thanks!

Wood inlaid handle was first in Kershaw catalog 1980, the first year I saw the bone handled version was 1993.

Thanks for the info!! I found a wood handle version at an estate sale a few weeks ago. It's in really nice shape with the bears engraved on the blade.

You probably noticed my avatar is the bone handled version. Did you get the sheath with it as well ? They were produced in four sizes and all had sheaths , there was one more skinner that is smaller than yours and two caper styles that were both awesome.

Yes,
It had the original sheath with it. Both the knife and the sheath are in really good condition. I will try to get some pics posted this coming week. Thanks for all of the good information! Sorry for the late response. Work, Work, Work...

Hey guys, sorry for the long absence. I took a couple pictures of my new 2330, but I'm new to the board and not sure how I go about posting them. The sheath is a little dry, but in really good shape, & It looks like the blade has never been sharpened.

When you go to reply to post and the box comes up for you to type in , near the top is a paper clip it will allow you to attach a photo file from your computer. this is the easiest way if you don't use photbucket or some site like it. If you still have trouble drop me an email them to me at steelhead15@juno.com and I will post them for you.

Here are photos of Hawk962's knife #2230.
