Kershaw 25th Anniversary Knife #039

This knife was my last purchase for 2009 and first arrival for 2010. I made the mistake of taking a look at Jay's Knives latest inventory on the day before Christmas. Spotted this one for sale and managed to resist until the following Tuesday.

I've already posted a picture of this knife in the "Last Knife of 2009" thread. It is such a pretty knife I thought I'd share a few more pics.

If I was in to knives back when this was produced, I would have loved to have seen a production version.

This is probably as close to a Ken Onion custom as I'll ever come. There's a really nice pic, taken by Mitch Lum, of a 25th Anniversary with one of Ken's Task Masters on Ken's web site showing how close they are in appearance.

Very cool. I still kick myself for not buying the one I saw at a gun show 3 years ago for 120.00.
 
Nice pick up PG. Ti bolsters and liners, with polished G-10 handles! :thumbup:

Thanks DV. :thumbup: That and the CPM-440V blade made this something special, even if it hadn't been a 25th Anniversary commemorative.
