Kershaw 2950 "rebirth"

I just wanted to show you how an older Kershaw 2950 with broken handle takes a new lease of life as a carbon fiber handle slipjoint, thanks to a fellow knifemaker (he makes fixed blades, it's his first folder). I'm very happy with my "old newborn" knife!
You know, the 2950 was that "Opinel-style" one with the turning ring as lock.

That looks nice, except now the "2950" tang stamp is not true.
 
Finally, I found an original 2950 in yellow/green! Great little knife, not a hard user but a fine one. I was really surprised to find a nested spring inside! I made a couple of pictures because there aren't at all in this forum... Enjoy! ;)
