Actually the real Wannabee is the ZT0055, but I regress.
The Kershaws, 5515 on top:
I bought these to do a picture with my GTC(Reduced Stampede), I admit to mock these cheap attempts by Kershaw to produce something designed by Cecchini.
The larger 5520, the Malt, arrived first.
These two by the way, are discontinued and sort of hard to find. Maybe other folks had the same idea!
The larger 5520 wannabee fulfilled my expectations: no expectations at all. It's a knife. With assist. That's hard to open. With a funny looking blade.
Not so good it dampened my quest to find the smaller mate, the Hops.
Which is mostly what this all about.
The arrival of the 5515 Hops changed my perspective!
It's actually a pretty cool small knife! One you would take when you wouldn't really want to carry a knife and, wait for it, it has a bottle opener!
I suppose they drink a lot (tons?) of beer in Brazil so a bottle opener on a knife is de rigueur. You will also find the opener on Cecchini's much, much, much more expensive customs.
Ok, I guess it does come in handy.
Back to the Hops.
Like the large knife it also comes with SpeedAssist or whatever Kershaw calls it and I admit that's what gives it part of it's charm.
Here, let me open that for you. Oh, and you have a little string hanging off that button hole and let me take care of that for you.

Okay, maybe your Omega didn't come with the laser beam, but your knife has a bottle opener!
Being a knife snob, I don't usually spend so little on so much!
I mean don't expect much more from this little blade except that it's sharp and neat.
The 5520 Malt, no. Even if you drink a lot of beer. I think they sold these via those red crank things outside the supermarket you put quarters in and the plastic bubble comes out containing your knife.
I should use that more: plastic bubble knife.
The 5515 Hops I like. Just a cool little blade.
Don't even think ZT0055. Don't be a poseur. Get the real deal. Actually to be honest, I don't even like the Airborne.

edit: no offense to them knives in the plastic bubbles; I spent a lot of hard earned quarters trying to get the knife, instead only getting them dumb stickers
