I am going to be buying some knives for the groomsmen in my upcoming wedding and being not to deep in the pockets I am looking currently at two models

The Kershaw LFK and the CRKT Pazoda just looking for some opinions on these, I am leaning heavily toward the kershaw but the Pazoda design interests me

I would buy the Kershaw for two reasons:
1) Kershaw will 100% back you up and do ANYTHING to help you or your groomsmen if there is any issue. You can't beat a lifetime guarantee like they offer.
2) I believe the design is elegant and I don't know if it's possible to find a gripe that would make somebody not like it.

The Kershaw looks much better, but costs a lot more. Maybe consider a Kershaw Leek (Damscus, perhaps) too? They can be had for cheap (check in the dealer's forum for blemished ones).

FWIW - I've had problems with 3 different CRKT knives - never had a problem with any Kershaw knife I've owned.

Comparing the LFK to the Leek, you might consider a nice Leek instead. Run the numbers. I don't know how many groomsmen you have. Maybe four? Now consider the additional cost of upgrading as a percentage of the entire wedding. Consider also how much more appreciative the groomsmen would be. The return on your investment will come on those occasions when you need a few loyal friends to provide you a friendly couch to sleep on.

I would like to recommend the Gentlemen's folder over the Leek for one reason, the torsion bar. They could be intimidated by it, and it could cause extra maintainance that they may not be able to perform.
The Gentlemen's folder is basically maintainance free, minus oiling, whereas the Leek has a little bit more maintainance.
