Hey friends. It's been a couple of years since I've posted here, though I look in every few weeks. I don't know who all is around any more. I used to slightly know Vampire Gerbil, Cindy Denning, a few others. That's not really the point, but hello again everybody!
Okay, here's the deal. My fiancee and I are in a long distance relationship right now. She's from South Africa, and she sent me an Okapi knife a few months ago, a south african made brand of knife, for my collection. She also has some knives. For her birthday, I sen't her a Kershaw Rainbow Leek from my collection. She doesn't know it yet, it's still in the airmail.
What the problem is, is that I will not be there in person to show her how a framelock works, much less how the torsion bar and thumbstud and flipper all work. And I can't seem to find a damned thing on the net about it anywhere!
Can anybody help me out here? I'll keep checking this thread, but I'd really actually even appreciate direct e-mails. It's only going to be 3 more business days before it's supposed to get to her.
I have a cam, but I realized that the resolution and refresh rate is far too low and slow to show her these things that way.
So I'm looking for pictures, I guess is what I'm asking you all for.
Thanks for any help!
