1/16th is all I've ever seen used in any of the knives from Kershaw. In my experience manufactured and custom are either 1/16th or 2 mm balls one or the other. I'm sure some use other things just to be different. Dick Atkinson for example used the smaller number 1 button head screws which required a very tiny allen wrench not even included on most sets. This screw was used in the construction of the body and for mounting the clip and if you look his small frame locks even used the same button head screw screwed down and locktite placed for the detent ball and after this screw was down the head was simply polished over. I've got three of them. Anyway, most of the factory folders are 1/16.
