Couldn't not buy one. Had to. Now what...

I bumped into this yesterday at the OKCA mini meet in Eugene and now I own one. Never having seen this before to my recollection I wondered what I would do with it for about 10 minutes then bot one anyway. Gotta do something but it won't fit into the display case. I've owned a model 1004 for many years now with it clipped into the outside of my emergency bag in the back of my car, on the ready line just in case, and it is in perfect shape.

All mine:

Your are sick mars51.

I was with my lovely wife or I would have bot all of them (4-5)! Kershaw Guy is the bomb. Apparently, the dealers have been blocked from attending the Kershaw Factory Sale, in progress right now, this year and going forward. However, I didn't see this item at the factory sale last year or this. I love the stuff and the cutlery. Gotta get a Kershaw red coffee mug asap.

I got one of these from Kershawguy a few months back, and it has been just sitting in the box ever since (and I don't even have one of the carabiniers, but I would like to pick one up).

Too bad about them barring dealers from the factory sale. The only way I ever got any blems was from Kershawguy.

So I went back to the Kershaw factory sale today, was there Friday already, and picked up a lockable steel and plexiglass display for $20 plus a few folders, including the last S30V Blur left, to help fill it up:

The carabiners are disco. Unobtanium. They are not in the 2014 catalog and I was told that they will not be in the 2015 catalog. Gone. These were $5 on Friday and adios today. Not even a mini this afternoon. I dropped the ball on that one. Now I will have a banner to keep the display case company! Score! I will work up some photos when I get a few folders in it and the banner set up. :)

That would be the Dash, S0880. This one has the XXXX marking on the blade indicating blem. The maker, who was selling this knife, goes by the number and the name Dash was familiar to him. This same fellow found me the very last S30V 1670 which was very very nice of him.

I've gone over the perfectly function knife and discovered what I believe to be the blem: The last zero is missing from the model number on the blade and reads S088RD (should read, S0880RD).

Take a look:

$34 Dash blems? Congrats. You know they were going for over a hundred off the SnapOn truck?

I wish that I had known that you would liked one tbow as I could have bot another. I was bummed because all of the ZT knives were sold out.

To select the one I did buy I worked at least 25, one hour before the close of the sale, to get the one with the quickest action opening. They all looked and worked as new but in every production batch there are gonna be a few that rise above the crowd on some measure(s) of quality. It is fun for me to sprint thru a box of knives lightning fast to find the most charming one.

I don't think we were really blocked, they just didn't want us there during the show causing confusion and taking away from the publics experience, I get it. I miss the excitement , but I get it. Also I will still probably get some blems after the show closes to the public, so don't lose hope I will still have some blems. Oh and I still have around 45 of the banners, the mechanism that house the pull out is worth around $40 by itself, they are not worth shipping expenses or I would sell them in the exchange.
