Kershaw Barrage 2445ST drop test

For anyone wondering about the point strength of the barrage,I dropped mine from 10ft, onto a wood cutting board....No damage whatsoever.It wobbled a bit ;was looking for that "snap" and for it to flop over.It didn't.So I repeated the same test 15 more times.The first maybe 1/8" inch of the edge did dull a bit,but the knife still wobbled and nothing.To me this say's good heat treat,good knife...way to go kershaw!

Wonder...anyway would you have rather it dropped into a coconut,or a car door...??? if so it would surely fail....the purpose of the test was that reasonable stress on the point would not damage the knife.
