Kershaw Blade Steel Question

I dug out some of my old Kershaws and discovered a Scallion from 2003. It doesn't have the three holes in the blade as the newer ones do, and it says it was made in January of 2003. Any idea if the blade steel is 440A or 420HC?

AFAIK all of the Chives and Scallions were and still are 420HC. Kershaw does a very good job on their 420HC. IMHO Buck and Kershaw have the best 420HC currently in production.
