Hey everyone, I am looking to start a collection of the various Blurs. Does anyone have any pics of the different types that are out there. I would like to create a list so that I can begin my quest. I already have a Red one that was a rescue before Tom krein removed the serrations and blunt tip. I would love to see what is out there. Thanks for the help.

2brothers, that is a nice collection of Blurs you have.
I only have 1 black one with the plain blade, but it has been a very dependable knife
and the slight recurve I believe aids me in slicing.
The thin frame with a decent body makes it easier for me to hold on to.
 
RxEnergy, I am truly envious of that collection. It is what I am aiming for. Thanks for the pic.
 
Thanks! Blur is one of my favorite Kershaws, I wish they'd make an LE with a nice steel blade and a Ti framelock body. Something like TiSG2 JYD II or TiZDP Leek and Mini Cyclone.

I'll second that. My S30V Blur has been my EDC for a month or so now, and I don't see it leaving that role anytime soon.

I have just recently seen a brown blur in ZDP-189 posted for pre-order. I am not in the market for one, but you had better get on it.
 
Yeah, the purple is pretty cool, when did they run that one? Are they still floating around?
I would also be a huge fan of a Titanium Frame lock version.

Birthday on the blade is Oct 03. I was lucky to pick one up from the bay.
 
Not to hijack the thread, but recently ordered a brown zdp blem from kershaw guy for awesome price, and was wondering:

Are there any makers or examples of custom scales available for these knives? I am talking about something that looks like a hinderer G10 scale. I have seen spydercos and other knives with fantastic looking aftermarket scales (some awesome orange ones too!). I have seen the STR proto frame locks and these are not what I am talking about. I have searched a bit, but not found any examples.

As for my Blurs, the SG2 sees a lot of carry time. Just an all around great knife for the price. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the CB ZDP model.
 
Hate to bump old threads but are al blurs spped safe?I picked up a red blur from oct 03 and it does not have any AO.
