Kershaw Blur: Newer version??

I just read somewhere that the newer Blurs have a different kind of grips. The only one I know about is the original which the inserts which felt a lot like sandpaper. Anyone bought one of the non sandpaper?

Certainly hope not, I love the combination of aluminum and griptape. It tears your pockets up something fierce though.

Yeah, It feels like rubbery, very coarse grit now. Imagine the surface of a running track, with about half of the abrasiveness.
