What's your opinion on this knife. My girlfriend bought me one for my birthday and it's just kind of sat in the box. It's my first kershaw, well i own a kershaw wildcat ridge (buck 110 copy) that he gave me as a beat up knife. I just want to know how well this knife holds up for day to day use and stuff and any opinions on it. I value your opinions or i wouldn't ask!

I have lots of Blurs.

They are a good EDC. Opens fast and locks solid.

Try it and see.

What Popcornpicker said. The Blurs are a fine knife, with an excellent steel. I have an SG-2 Blur myself.

Huge fan of the Blur. Carry different models all the time including the Red model. They all hold up well to everday tasks. I'm a huge fan of the S60V model and the SG2 model. I'm an SG2 junky!

just bought one for my wife (exaclty the same - plain edge/red handle). seems like a helluva knife, for the money, to me. a guy on youtube pointed out the the liner lock could be a little thicker. i'm happy with it :-)

I've been carrying my tactical Blur my uncle gave me lately. I even used it to cut a bunch of cardboard today. I've been thinking of picking up an S30V model in the regular profile.

I honestly have not found a knife that ride in the pocket, and fits the hand as well as the Blur. A thicker liner lock could be beneficial, but not necessary. I kept it as my hard use knife for a while and it has held up fine.

I'm the type of person who yes, i can sharpen a blade, and well, but i'd like to be able to carry a knife and not have to touch it up every 3rd use. I like sharp sharp knives. What can i throw at it? And i also agree, it rides extremely well in the pocket and fits well in the hand. One of the most comfortable knives i own. I hope those trac-tek inserts don't wear out.

My uncle gave me a kershaw wildcat ridge folder for a beatup knife when i was at his house about a year ago. My girlfriend gave me a kershaw blur for my birthday this year. I was saying how its my first kershaw bought for me, but i owned one other kershaw. I meant to say uncle but i was thinking in my head and typing wrong lol.

The Blur is a great EDC, although I've always been more partial to the Avalanche in that segment. At any rate, it's a great gift and will serve you well.

I saw nutnfancy made a knife review on it, but the old model. I owned an older one with 440c and the sandpaper inserts but then i returned it and got a something else when i realized the blade steel. I obviously got one now, and it has trak-tec inserts and a 13c26 blade. I was just wondering how the newer ones review on here.

Hmm. Freud would have a ball with this!

:D

lol wow. sorry guys i hadnt slept for a day and was having trouble keeping my eyes open. Haha, i am quite entertaining when i'm tired.

my two blurs are my favorite folders.

i have one in s30v and an s60v blemish.

i use the s30v one quite a bit, gets the msot carry time.

i do not use the s60v right now, because i want to send it to tom krien for a regrind, and its the same knife as my s30v except for the bvlade steel, and i dotn have a problem with my s30v at all.

the knfie itself feels great in hand, fills my mits up nicely, and it opens nice and fast.

Well, I guess you can tell from all the replies above why the Blur
is one of Kershaws best sellers. It is a rock solid folder and holds
up great. If this is your first blade with 13C26, you're in for a treat.
It takes a very nice edge and holds it decent.
