Kershaw Blur Revival for a Friend

A few years ago, I sold a lightly used Kershaw Blur that I just wasn't carrying to a friend of mine. In the past two years, the knife has been used very heavily by him on his family farm, and I finally convinced him to give it up for a little while for me to take a look at it. The clip was bent away from the scale, the tip was snapped, and the blade was as dull as a butter knife and pretty chipped up. The inside was full of gunk and dirt, and the action was pretty slow due to that. Well after some time with the dremel on a low speed, it has a tip again (I actually really like the sheepsfoot style tip that it ended up with). It's got a hair whittling edge at 18 DPS with a 21 DPS micro bevel, all the chips but one out (I didn't feel the need to remove the amount of metal needed with the amount of use this knife will continue to get), and a nice polish up to 1000 grit. The washers are polished and clean, and the massive amounts of gunk on the interior pockets and torsion bar is gone, and the blade fires open with authority now. Anyway, not a very skill intensive project, but I had a lot of fun putting some new life into a very well loved blade, and am happy to help my friend out at the same time. I hope he is happy with the results!

job well done! was it free hand sharpened? what stones did you use?
Thank you! No, this was done on the Edge Pro Apex. Due to how damaged the edge was and my desire to thin it a little bit, I started with a 120 grit stone, then progressed up to 1000 grit.
