I just received my Kershaw blur zdp in the mail Friday. Lovin it.

I switched the clip around to tip up carry today, and the first time I pulled it from my pocket it opened up on the way out. Kinda shocked me at first. So I had to try it about 20 more time. I got it to open around 19 out of the 20 times with not much effort.
The thumb stud is catching on the lip of my pants pocket just like the wave would.
I was just wondering if this is happening to any other blur owners out there.

Yeah, it works even better when you remove the AO it waves every time.
 
I've flipped all my clips on all my Blurs and I've never had this happen. I'll have to go try and make it happen to see.
 
Yes, you can use the blur as if it's waved. Yes, it will shred your poor pocket like no tomorrow.
 
i have had mine wave open on me when i didnt want it to, from my back left pocket...damn near bit me.
 
The clip on mine is reversed and, not only has this never happened to me accidentally, I can't make it happen even when I try.
