So what does everyone think of the blur (who has experince with it)? I have the avalanche, leek, scallion, rainbow leek, chive, etc. They are all great knives, but I am interested in this one, so what does everyone think of it?:)

I have been carrying a red version for the last week. I really like it. Fast, tight, it is a great model! Paul

I have the black model and I like it too. It has very good construction, tight lockup and a thin profile. The traction inserts are very rough. This knife will not slip in your hand! It is a nice knife. I like it alot better than the Blackout I have.

I got mine about a month ago - & I REALLY like it!
It's been my EDC since I bought it (except at work - not allowed a blade inside. And yes, I DO feel naked for the shift!)
The handle inset is indeed, extremely rough. I can't imagine losing the grip on this thing.
The handles fit my hand perfectly. And, like all the rest of my Apeed Assists, it opens very fast.
Ken Onion is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Speaking of.....anybody try a "Segal" yet?

rev_jch,

I just handled a black one a couple days ago at my local shop, and I was very impressed. It seems to have a great blade shape, nicely thin w/ lots of belly and that grip...Wow!

The only possible drawback(?) is that I thought it may be a little tough to get in and out of the pocket. :) Nice problem to have, assuming that this is actually true. It couldn't easily slip from one's hand I don't think. The handle's shape fits me like a glove, as well.

thanks everyone for the responses!!! very much appreciated!!!! It looks like thats the next one on my list (!?)

Thanks again!!!
Sincerely
John :D

I carry mine on duty and off and it has not done any noticeable damage to my pants. This is a real nice knife with a lot of great features. It has one of the fastest opening mechanisms I have seen. The only problem I have encountered is that it will not fully open once the mechanism has been interrupted. Manual wrist action has to be applied to correct this. Scalpel sharp factory edge also. I highly recommend it.
