I've always thought the Boa was cool, but didn't actually carry mine because the thumb-ramp kept sawiing through my jeans when I clipped it inside my pocket, and the guard / flipper was too sharp and caught my nail when closing the liner-lock.

It was relegated to my knife case.

Well, after removing the clip and purchasing this G2 sheath, it's really breathed new life into this knife. I also "stoned" all the sharp edges with my Spyderco Sharpmaker. It's AMAZING now. Truly a joy to carry / use.

_Highly_ recommended.

I was toying with looking into a custom Talonite replacement blade for it, but I actually like the CPM-440V so far. Guess I'll stick with it.

Michael, I KNOW what you mean about breathing new life into a knife you have set in a drawer!

I just had a similar experience with that WD Pease fixed blade, I had all but given up on ever carrying it, the sheath that came with it had a couple of problems, one I think it was made from chromed tanned leather which was causing the blade to RUST and really pissed me off!!! and two the swinger sheath on a knife this size, not big but too big for a swinger IMVHO...the new sheath I made for it works great, knife snaps into place and I can retrieve it easily and really love the knife now, a week ago I was ready to sell it! but now, uh uh, that sheephorn scales are very nice and great contour!

Much happier guy today!!!

Glad to hear that you are carrying that Boa around more, quick knife too!
