Question for anyone who can help. I recently received a Kershaw Boa and it is a beautiful knife ! I would like to lower the edge angle a little bit and normally, I would do this with my edge pro. However, the recurve on the back of the blade seems to be a little challenging. Any suggestions as to trying to get an even grind along the blade with/without the edge pro?

A second question would be, would it be possible (and worth it) to get one of the knife makers on the forums to regrind the knife so its more sharpening friendly (at least, with the edge pro)?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

i dont have an edge pro but i dont think it can be done with one. i havent seen a boa but if its a hollow grind i would send it to tom krein but it might be a while before he can get to it.

Pick up a set of croc stick and sharpen that way. Recurves can be sharpened on an Edge Pro but you have to size the stone down to about 1/4" wide or something like that.
