Postwoman just brought me Kershaw Bump G10 CPM-154 from Mary Beth. I did not have such a plesure from new knife quite a long time! Truly amaizing knife. It is pumpt with cool stuff - thumbstud lock (let me introduce this term), new powderd CPM 154 steel, double speedsafe, threedimntional handle, soft G10, curved blade and most important it is significantly underpriced.

I post all 22 photoes I made here on Russian guns.ru forum - http://talks.guns.ru/forummessage/5/94737-0.html

Only minor cons I found so far - clip single positioned and I am not able to remove it without damage nice look. Sharpness out of the box not perfect for me - hovewer it is not too many manufacturesrs who can meet my requirements on sharpness, ususlly I resharpen my knives anyway.

Thanks, Vassili.

Does it have a secondary lock, like the CRKT LAWKS system? (I would guess it does not.)

Ok, I understand now, sorry. It is about locking knife in closed position, to prevent accidental opening - yes it has! Here on the left upper corner:

Thanks, Vassili.

I am wonderin do I have first or all of them have same "1 of 500" mark?

Thanks, Vassili.

I saw another one owned by somebody else on line, it was also marked 1 of 500, I guess all 500 have the same mark.

Awesome knife, BTW!

Studlock is the term, hence the definitive appellation is "Studlock Bump"
What do you mean by "double speedsafe" - it doesn't have assisted closing!?
Bestt.

I mean it has torson bars from both sides. But now I think it actually has only one. Liners look same from inside and this mislead me to such conclusion - probably, they just make unified liners, not left and right.

Thanks, Vassili.

I played with one of these the other day. It seemed nice enough. I don't fully trust the speedsafe (I have had all 3 kershaws I have owned, with speedsafes break on me) or I would have bought one. That, and I would have to wait till they made one without all the writing on the blade. Definately has promise to be a good knife though.

Yeah, I handled that one at my competitor's store. The action was good. It felt very usable. But that lock just killed it for me. The speedsafe is so strong that unlocking the blade is very difficult. It feels awkward.

Bad luck, probably, I have no problem unlocking it, as well as closing. It has little resistance 2/5 way to closed position, but I can handle it.

It looks very mechanized, more I play with it - more I like it.

Unlocking was a bit unusual, but same as with Axis lock at the beginning.

Thanks, Vassili.

Actually I can close it with one finger: thumb or indexing, left hand or right hand - does not matter, it may be most comfortable locking system I know.

Blade is kind of bit lifted sheepfoot - part of the edge near tip straight, with big choil, sharpened choil. I is good for powercut. I am impressed with it also.

Thanks, Vassili.

That's a huge recurve. How difficult is it to sharpen? Does it fit the angles of the sharpmaker? And I like that it has a safety, I got rid of my first bump because it didn't have one. Opened way too easily with the flipper, for my peace of mind. Hopefully, they get rid of that big banner on the blade. Or make a satin or stonewashed blade!!
