Fresh off the UPS truck is the Ken Onion Bump. OVerall, very nice piece. Ergonomics are just right, action is smooth with the blade popping out easily with the flipper. Grinds are even though the swedge on this particular sample is off. Carries very well in the pocket - sits down low. S30V. Titaniuim frame lock. A Ken Onion design w/ Speed Safe. Factory folders don't get any better than this!

Here's some eye candy for you guys. Note in this shot the satin finish of the blade isn't that rough as it appears, it's just the way the late afternoon sun is hitting the knife.

Thank you, Dexter! Beautiful pictures! Beautiful knife. I am surprised at the chance they're taking with the handle finish. I like it a lot myself, a big change from the usual, but I can see people put off by its holiday colors! :D

Yeah, it can be a bit too "festive" for some, but its different nonetheless. I like it. It's a good contrast to all the gray and black knives out there.

Hear! Hear!

I have always been put off by all of the grim-looking knives on the market. Sure I want a knife that can do the job, but why shouldn't it be attractive too?

I own 25 folders. Only three of them have black handles, and one of those was a gift. :)

I'm getting a green Bump because I already have a bunch of knives with blue anodizing. :D

I'll post some more pics later. The blade is 1/8" thick approx.

i've been waiting to get another kershaw onion and this looks like it may be it.

how big is the blade? I've been hearing that it's 3.5" from some places and 4" from others

Well, it's actually both depending on how you measure the blade. If you go from tip to where the sharpened portion ends, then it's 3.5". If you go from tip to flipper, then it's 4".

No word yet on when these will be shipping, but rest assured it will be soon.
