I'm in the market for a Bump, does it have a safety to prevent the blade from opening in your pocket, I've read some reviews anybody have anything else to add? Thanks in advance, Rob

the Bump is a great knife. Buy one...if you don't like it resell it on the forums. I haven't had mine open accidentaly either.

I've caried one on and off, for over six months and not a problem with the knife. No accidental opening or closing. And the lovely green and gold color still looks great for a EDC.

I have a bump and have had no problems with it opening. BUT my friend has one to and he likes to run around, will he says the blade can open up and cut your leg if you are not careful, it almost happen to him. So I let him know that the problem is that the back of the knife blade is not against his pocket. This can be solved by wearing the bump on the left side, but then you have to reach over for it. Another trick is to keep your wallet in a front pocket and just deep carry it wedged against the wallet. I also told him if he does not like the bump I will buy it from him for the same price he paid, he turned me down, I would have to.

I have a Black Out. Once, when I wasn't thinking, I took it snowtubing in my pocket. I'm talking about snow tubing on a big mountain.

Afterwards, I realized that I could have castrated myself. But I didn't.

2 buy or not 2 buy, that ain't the question:
whether it's nobler in the blue, or green, that is!
