I am very interested in getting one of these "little" Onions, but I want some feedback from actual owners. Which do you prefer? Chive or Scallion and why?

el cid,
The Chive is nice but a little too small to be a good user. The Scallion is a little bigger and the handles are a bit thicker and feels good in the hand. It's a hard choice depending on the each persons needs but do like I did, buy BOTH (they are inexpensive enough) good luck deciding,

Woody, does the Chive have a linerlock or a frame lock?

el cid,
The Chive is a Frame-lock and the Scallion is a Liner-lock.

Howdy There....!
For my two cents worth, I would get one of each. I have one of each on order, but haven't received them yet. The are great blades, got to play with them at Atlanta and one at a dealer's. One reason I am getting them is, as soon as someone in the customs realizes that they are so quick. They will classify them as autos and they will be gone. They are as fast as my autos that have bottons. Good Luck and get one of each.
