Kershaw Chubby Knife

I have one of those Kershw 1440 Chubby Knife, red handle, got it for 9.99 on ebay...Saw a green handled one for 30 bucks..apparnetly its a special edition but the only difference is the handle color...does this warrant it being 30 bucks?

The Chubby was done in a few different colors. I don't think the green was anything out of the norm (special/limited run, etc.). They even made a really neat camo model.

Great little knives, and I guess they're worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay.

I bought one of the camo Chubbys from Reholie when he was having his sale.
It is a beautiful knife. Very collectible from what I have read.

I wouldn't pay $30 for a chubby. They are, however, great, fun little knives. :thumbup:

I have found that the new Halfton are just as fun and way less than $30

I believe the red Halfton is standard production and all other colors are for SnapOn.
I could be incorrect on this though.

Yup I have a Red halfton--cool little knife--really smooth too, surprised me!

I have 2 Kershaw Chubby's (orange and red) that I believe i got for $25 each. I've seen them be sold here on BF for about $50 each
