The Kershaw composite D2 Leek I just got from my local knife shop has far exceeded my expectations.

I think its the best $60 I've spend on a knife to date.

There's a reason I keep going back to Kershaw, but this one blew my mind.

Solid, thin, strong, and wicked crazy stupid sharp.

Figured I would share if anyone was looking for an affordable performer.

Those composite blades are sweet and will hold a edge for a looooong time.

I bought all the models of the Ken Onion Kershaws when they first came out. I especially loved my black Boron coated chive and rainbow titanium nitrided Leek, but I really wished they had been made with premium blade steel.

Now some are... I'll have to try them again!

Stay sharp,

It's difficult to go wrong by buying a kershaw. Top quality, excellent designs, and great prices on top of good stuff for true knife knuts like the past sprint runs of Ti & ZDP, Sg2, and now CPM D2.

That's a good choice you made J.Curd. If you ever get the chance, try one of the SG2 knives. Or the G10, S30V leek. Another great knife for the price. Joe

Oh you know I love those Kershaw Composites :D

I just lost that version. I hope it materializes, but Im not holding my breath.

For the $20 difference in price, I'll take the CB Leek over the S30V/G10. D2 and S30V are real close to performance in my book, and the scales of the CB are thinner, and the G10 are a bit wide, albeit I love G10.

For the price difference, IF I lose this one, a 1660CB will replace it.

psy-ops- Convex the Outcast. It takes an insane amount of work, but makes that knife rival a Busse in chopping power for a fraction of the cost.
