Kershaw costing me extra for the holidays

My vow this year was to buy a knife for nearly everyone's Christmas gift on my list.

So far, I've found that for ~$20 gifts, there are more than a few Kershaws that are absolutely awesome (they seem to dominate the low-cost high-quality knife market). I've got several ZTs and higher-cost Kershaws, I'm finding that for every one of these budget knives I buy for someone else... I end up ordering an extra for myself (after getting them out and playing with them I find that they are actually pretty awesome).

I've acquired a G10 Hawk, a Chill, and a One Ton. This is making Christmas a lot more expensive than last year, but somehow, I'm making out quite well this year :D

aaaaaaaaand now I own a Half-Ton (couldn't resist the wrench pocket-clip).

Crap - this is going to add up to the price of a ZT or high-end Kershaw before too long.

Oh well, I'm really enjoying these budget Kershaws.
 
I'm a "bunch of good value knives" guy too. I have about 50 knives, and my military is the only one worth more than $100 new.

I know what you mean!

I picked up a few of the AGR 2005 Spearpoints when they went on sale (I suspect these were made in Tualatin for AGR...)

I found them to be so nice, I ordered a few more so I could keep one for me and give several as gifts.

I also picked up some Kershaws from kershawguy - nice Tanto Zings, so there will be a few folks in my family that will get a nice knife as a gift this year.

I would add that all of the ladies in my family have their own quality pocket blade, most have chosen to keep and use them.

I seem to have followed your lead this year. I grabbed some Volt II's at a big box store on Black Friday and decided to fill out the rest of my gift list with knives as much as I can. ( along with a Cryo 1551TI and Wild Wild Turkey 1430 for myself :cool: ) Even got the wife a pink Scallion. Maybe I can get my Scallion back now. :rolleyes:
