I was checking out the sporting goods department at Wally World Friday, when I saw a locked case with several different Kershaw knives and multi-tools in it. I happened to look down at the bottom of the case and saw a Kershaw Crown for $14 and change. It interested me but it wasn't worth hunting a sales associate down to get them to unlock the case. So I move on and at the end of the isle, there was a whole rack of them. So I grabbed one, and headed home.It is my only China made knife, and probably will stay that way. However the knife has no bladeplay any direction, opens smooth and fast, the grinds a little off, but hey it's 14 bucks. It's now my loaner knife at work. It held up fine stabbing it through a Dinty Moore Beef Stew can also. Passes spine whack test. Good buy for little cashito.

I am quite impressed with the Crown. I picked mine up for $10. Pretty insane value.

I gave a few of these out as stocking stuffers last Christmas - they are surprising in quality for the price - of course that is no surprise from our friends at Kershaw, but I was impressed.

I'll mention that the ergos are very good and it is a nice sized knife for most daily tasks.

I picked one up too and will use it in the same role as you...... A loaner. I will admit the insane value, it's still hard for me to reach for it when I approach my edc selection full of spydies and bokers. It is an amazing value for the budget knife enthusiast.

About two months ago my local WM had a whole end cap full of these for $5. I bought several and now wish I had bought more.

The Crown is a decent knife for the money. I had the black Crown II, but just have the blue Wally World Crown 1. It's a nice knife.

I got my Crown for Christmas, and I love it. It's a great knife that you wouldn't be afraid to beat on if you had to.

Bought one for my friend's birthday today. I think it converted another non-knife person over to the sharp side.

I bought a bunch at $5 each, clearanced at my local WM.
Gave a few away. Got one out of the clam pack and played with it, but haven't carried it yet.
No complaints though. It seems like a solid knife for $14.
