Hey guys, still fairly new here, i read a lot and have purchased 2 knives from the classifieds here. A benchmade 300-sn and a black leek.
Anyway i have been thinking about getting the cryo g10. I stopped in a preppers store today after going to guitar center ( whole other addiction ) and they had one. So i checked it out and it was much lighter than the standard version which was my biggest complaint about my old cryo. But it was really dull from the factory, the framelock was very hard to disengage and it was slightly off center. Is this normal with them or was it just a bad one?

I don't have the G10 version, but I do own two of the standard versions. Both had badly off center blades from the factory and the framelock was a little sticky when I first received it. I was able to center both knives fairly easily and the sticky lock went away after a few dozen opening and closings.

For a budget knife, you're not going to get perfection.

The off center doesn't bother me just thought i would mention that part. But the lock was seriously hard to disengage, the regular cryo next to it was easy to disengage
