Kershaw cryo loose thumb studs

I was playing with my cryo opening and closing it with the flipper and the thumb studs just now and I noticed that the thumb studs are very loose. I can make a small circle with them while not rotating them. Has anyone else noticed this with theirs? I find it a little odd because I have only had this knife for about 2 weeks and I have only carried it for about a week. Also I have extremely late lockup which I noticed right out of box.

First thing I did with mine was remove the thumbstuds. I don't see the point of them on an assisted flipper, they are only there to get hung up on cardboard. I did notice that they were very easy to unscrew- I was able to do it by hand with out any tool.
