So , whats the verdict ? I just ordered one on a whim and am wondering just how bad they are . I have read or seen on Utube that parts tend to break rather quickly . I dont expect much from it besides something that can cut straws and packages open .

I really enjoy mine. I think it looks and feels like a much more expensive knife than $30'ish.

Nice deep carry clip, fits good in my hands, came razor sharp, no problems with centering or lock up. Very satisfied with it so far.

I've only used mine for light duty stuff, mine came with a decent edge, it's a bit off center but I havent' tried to center it yet. does a good job with cutting cigars, paper and other minor things. If you only want it to cut straws and other things like that it should do well, I like the assist on it, and the steel isn't bad, and you can get a scale made for it later if you want to customize. One thing that keeps it from being part of my daily rotation is the size. It's small. Good pickup and make sure and keep us informed of how you like it.

I also like mine alot, I got it when they first hit the streets, and have it clipped to the shoulder strap of my biking camelback. The cryo is beefy and the assisted open fires hard. The steel is 8cr13mov, and will get real sharp on the sharpmaker.I also used it alot at a previous job for cuttin open taped boxes. The TiNi coating held up good, and the deep carry clip holds securely. Great buy for 30 bux.

It's a good knife, mine tends to find it's way to being my EDC since I got it. It feels heavy in your hand but for some reason the weight seems to disapear when I clip it in my pocket and not be noticeable. Which is weird considering other knives around this weight are noticable to me. Beyond that I agree with kershawTex and add in that for me it feels a bit too small. Which is strange considering I prefer knives that have 2.5-3in blades and this one doesn't fit my hand but the Cryo II will probably fit my hand perfectly.

Think you made a good whim purchase you'll likely be happy with.

I like mine. IMHO, darn decent for the money.
I wouldn't try to cut down a tree with it, but seems a good light duty edc.

Mine has been my work knife, Overall it's good, the steel won't hold a edge so I have to touch it up often. Just the other day the spring broke so it is a manual now. It has been used daily. Still thinking about sending it in to be fixed.

By far the lowest priced knife I've purchased in the last 2 years. It landed in my EDC rotation after I put a CF scale on it and cut a third of the weight. It's an amazing value for the price.

Where'd you hear about those problems? Mines held up just fine. The 8Cr13MoV steel takes a razor's edge and the TiNi coating holds up really well. The clip is great and I find the coating holds up really well on that too. It's a nice little hunk of a knife.

Love my little Cryo's! I always have one in the middle console of my truck as my back up knife. Plus, they make great gifts on the go.

Well , my cryo arrived today and I will say it is small but not in a bad way. Pleasantly surprised at the overall fit and finish on it.

blade sits where it should , no blade play at all ( but looking at the size of the pins I expect that to change ) Sharp . the thumb studs seem to be extraneous as the flipper is easier to use on this small of a knife. Now I need to go buy a really small hex set to change this thing to point up carry , the way it is shipped makes it cumbersome to use ( point down) . going to leave the factory edge on it to see how long it lasts before I turn it into a razor.

I like it but it is heavier then it should be in my opinion.

Pros: nice design, built well, strong spring, great value for the money, really like the deep carry clip.
Cons: Very heavy, I would rather have seen it a different steel (nothing really wrong with 8cr13),
Overall impression: Great knife for the money, nice size for EDC.
