Kershaw Damascus

Guys, I'm really digging the looks of the Zing:

But is that really Damascus? I mean, folded and hammered Damascus? I thought Damascus steel was VERY expensive, so it's hard to believe you can find a nice Damascus folder for just 65 bucks .

Or is that just some sort of acid/laser etched pattern on the blade? If it's the case, then I rather go with the normal blade, since I have a serious grudge against anything that is fac-simile .

I have the Leek Damascus and it is wicked sharp. Very nice knife.

Yeah, I ended up getting the damascus Leek with black handle. I am very pleased with it! the damascus patern looks great, it flips great, and it may be the sharpest knife I've ever had right out of the box!

Can't beat it for the price! :thumbup:
