Man this forum is costing me a poor mans small fortune and the Kershaw disease is only getting worse. I really want a grove to go along with my JYD's.

I finally took the time to think about how many Kershaws I've bought in the last three weeks :

1.JYD1
2.JYD1
3.JYD2
4.Leek BW
5.Leek BW
6.Leek TIZDP (Kind of pricey, but just had to have one)
7.Scallion (Green)
8 Scallion (Green)
9.Kershaw Camp Kit
10.Vapor I
11.Vapor II.

I had gone in to the local hardware store today just wanting to look a Kershaw Groove not intending to buy at this time for lack of funds and of course they don't carry the Groove. (they only have a few older models) Of I couldn't leave without another Kershaw and he let me have the Vapor II for $20.00.:)

I really really want a Groove but now I've spent my limit for quite a while, not to mention the cost of a divorce if my wife finds out I've put another knife on the credit card, I guess I wont be getting a groove anytime soon.:(

Hey Thomas, you don't happen to have an old rejected, defective thrown away Groove laying around you can donate to a guy that's got the Kershaw in the doghouse poormans disease do you ?;) LOL

Is anyone else close to a divorce over their love for Kershaw knives ?

More cowbell. :)

HAHAHAHA! awsome guys.

my perscription is to cut off one toe for every kershaw that you own. (doubles dont count). you will only have 2 toes left as of now. it will keep you from walking to ur car to drive to the knife shop and walking to the computer to order more knives. if you buy any more, you must then start on your non-knife-using hand (after the toes are gone). if this results in withdraw from buying kershaws, i do have a perscription for that. (sadly (for you anyway) one of the side effects results in death and your sending me all of your kershaws) ;) ;) ;) ;)

whats worse is that this is a very contaigous disease and I think i have that fever too.

THANK YOU CARman!

I have to much "more cowbell" with many hobbies, that's what the problem is with my wife. She thinks I have to many of everything now. She just dosen't understand.

My Kershaw disease just started three weeks ago and I'm already up to 11 Kershaws and plan to have many more.:)

I guess my begging Thomas for one of those old defective Grooves thats probably just laying around collecting dust didn't work.;) :D So I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and wait on getting one for a while versus getting a divorce. Man that's tough decision between the groove and the wife. LOL

Anybody get a groove that decided they didn't really like it ?

The only known (and therefore acceptable) cure for your condition is to spend it to death. It's just like sweating out a cold or the flu, but much more fun (short term anyway).

Exactly! Its like "Starve a cold, feed a fever."
Feed the fever!

Wait, is it the other way around?
Starve the fever!

No, feeding it is more fun
...and of course more cowbell can't hurt.

Lahar, You really shouldn't fight it, Just get into the Groove. It's really just a Minitask ! Your problem just Needs Work. Take a few Onions and mix in a Chive and you'll be seeing Rainbows before you know it. You act like you got caught in a Cyclone and got a Bump on your head ! Others have been swept away by an Avalanche, wrappped up by Boas and even made it through Blackouts. I am sure you can make it through this Storm, maybe we can send you a little cash to Offset your expenses ! I really think you should just Kershaw Up and quit crying , you don't see the rest of us with any knife issues.

Great reply, I was just having a little fun since the forum had slowed down a little. I thought I had Kershawed up pretty well in the last three weeks:o ......Guess not.:(

Maybe someday I can reach the level that some you have achieved.;) So now I'll just go to my private crying room and just do more lurking here.;)

I also forgot to add the kershaw minted honker, that sits in a place of honor in my gun cabinet display, that I got from kershawguy to my list of newly aquired Kershaws. Thanks again for that kershawguy.:)

Well, looks like Kershaw has just pushed the disease to a whole new level. If the new knives are a sign of anything, I'd say that the disease is now incurable. The best we can hope for is maintenance, with regular doses of the new models as they ship (with some more cowbell thrown in for good measure, of course).
