The AG Russell catalog has these knives for sale at $115 for both. I like their looks and combination of blades. When I searched the forum for information on them, I found general comments that people like them. I would appreciate some more specific information from those who own or have handled them. Do you like the AUS6 steel? Is the liner lock well made? How is overall quality?

Usually, I have a particular use in mind for a knife before I buy it. These just caught my eye though. If I bought them, I guess I would just add them to the daily rotation.

Thanks.

I have the Double Cross and love it. I really don't have a bad thing to say about the knife. The AUS-6 has held up amazingly well, and the knife looks beautiful. The wharncliffe blade was the major reason for me buying the knife, and I haven't once regretted it. The Double Cross is a great cross between the tactical and traditional pocket knife.

My only probelem with the double cross is the main blade had all sorts of vertical and horizontal play to it. The wharncliffe blade is just great, no problems at all. The knife is easy to keeep sharp so don't worry about the aus 6. The problem with the main blade is about to be resolved though, I am going to send it in for a warranty.

Like Buzzbait, I bought one for the wharncliff. Unfortunately it has not held up well. After a fairly minimal amount of use, the Wharnie is very loose, both verical and horizontal. Guess I'll have to go back to general distain for things Kershaw.
