Hi, does anyone no anything on Kershaw Double Cross Model #4380 ..looks like a great small pocket Knife ...Checked Kershaw's site ,nothing about it. thanx.
I know a little bit about it, I'm holding one right now. Nice little knife. Mine has stabilized cherry slabs and has two of the sharpest blades (ouch!). Highly recommend it!

First, is more than one kind of wood used in making these knives? I'd seen the Knife Center add a week or 2 ago, and was put off entirely by the "redwood" scales. Now, one has stabilized cherry wood. Cherry wood can be very tough, and I'd expect that stabilized it would make a very good scale. But redwood? Splinter king of the woods? Maybe knife center used the word red in the generic, color sense?
Also, since both the blades use the same liner, is it possible to have both blades locked at the same time? Lastly, do the locks seem solid? The idea of a knife with locking blades at either end is real attractive for a very low profile, last ditch, defensive weapon. Besides, they look so good!
