I'm considering the Kershaw E.T. as my next addition to my collection, but wanted some input from you guys. I haven't been able to handle one yet, but find it very interesting. My one R.A.M. is my one and only EDC for work and play (hard to beat a R.A.M.), I carry the Chive for dress. How does the E.T. handle and hold up in the field? Is there another I should consider first? No matter what I plan on purchasing the E.T., but if there's something you recommend before this one let me know.

I had and carried an e.t. for over a year. it is a great knife...durability is not an issue. you just have to make sure all the screws holding it together stay tight because the whole handle of the knife moves to open it. i'd deffinately recommend it for a collection but there are better e.d.c. blades out there. the kershaw blur is excellent in that role. if i were you, i'd get the e.t. to try out and if you don't like how it carries, functions etc. try out the blur or something else next.

It is kind of a gadget knife that's fun to play around with. Not necessarily a worshorse, although it is well made and might hold up...
