Just recieved a Kershaw Echo and AG Russell Sting in the mail today and can tell you the Echo is a great looking knife. Made of AUS8 at 59 rc and with a 4 inch Ken Onion designed blade and Woodsy Camo handle it feels really good in the hand and I have fairly large hands. Comes with a matching sheath and I have cut about a zillion boxes open and it's still sharp as a tack. And the best news..It's under $40.00. If I lost it this year I'm only out 40 small ones but I plan on keeping it as a user.
The Sting says on the side in bold letters "FORGED 1050" and is razor sharp on both sides. For some reason I forgot it was sharpened on both sides which is a no no in my state so I'll be real discreet. It looks like you could lift a bull dozer with it as it is all one forged piece and very sturdy looking. The only complaint if have is the nylon sheath with plastic insert holds the knife very firmly and both sides sharpened don't give you a lot of leeway for mistakes in trying to remove it quickly.
