Kershaw Emergency Fishing "Knife"?

Saw this little item on eBay and despite a gallant effort to purchase it, it was snagged by someone else while I was at work. I wanted it as it looks like just the thing to put emergency fishing gear and small game snare stuff in. My question is, just what is it? Says "Kershaw" on the blade in the eBay description, but I cannot find this thing anywhare on the internet.Any info on this item would be greatly appreciated.

I saw it there as well , I looked in all my old catalogs and couldn't find it. Just about the time I think I have seen all the kershaw knives, something like this surfaces. You might give Diane at Kershaw a call and see if she knows when it was produced. Interesting item !

I concur, orthogonal1. I would'nt be using the knife blade or the "harpoon" attatchment too much, only in extrimis, as there is a real chance that plastic could snap on you. I'm also not sure about the hook being screwed into the unit; seems it would be better suited to be attached to a line. And thank you for the tip, kershawguy.
