Does anyone here know whether the new Kershaw/Emerson, ZT/Emerson knives will incorporate the traditional Emerson chisel grind or if Kershaw/ZT will incorporate a V grind as they normally do. I have tried to get an answer from Kershaw but nothing.

Personally I am hoping they stay with the V grinds because I believe chisel grinds should stay with chisels... but this is strictly my opinion and preference... to each his own.

Pretty sure all except one have the v grind as in primary v grind and edge grind. I think I saw them say that on a video.

Thanks everyone and thanks RevDevil.

I went through the entire thread and found a number of guys just hoping the same thing as me with only one guy hoping they come in chisel grinds. There was a mention of the 6, and one of the 8K as well, but nobody with anything definite and all the material posted by Kershaw does not tell us about the grind.

As far as it goes with me if I don't know the grind I will never purchase it. Not about to spend the money on something that I would have to get re-ground to be useful. Sorry to all that like the chisel grind, but I find it won't cut straight which could cause many problems.
