I just ordered a cqc6 .I was wondering what experiences and opinions there were regarding this knife

Decent budget knife, wave is small though. Depending on your expectations I think you'll be happy.

I agree with shinyedges... the Kershaw collabs are decent knives for what they cost. I've had both the 6 & 7 models and they both performed pretty well as far as cutting and action are concerned. The wave is a bit smaller than on a ZT or n Emerson, but that never bothered me because I don't use waves to open folders. The blades needed to be touched up more often than my more expensive knives with a different blade steel, but I expected that and the edges did come back pretty easily.

I'd say that if you are expecting a $30.00 budget-minded knife, then you've picked a good one. Just let the knife be what it is. Don't expect it to be a ZT or an Emerson.

I've got a CQC 4KXL that I beat on with disdain and all is well mechanically. Steel isn't bad and sharpens easily. I did what amounts to a destructive test on mine and popped the tip off, but just dremeled the blade out to be a wharncliffe. I throw this thing as well, I've only needed to slightly retighten the pivot. It's an excellent choice at it's price point.

I've got these 3 can't remember the numbers, there good knives especially for the money. I had alot of fun waving them until a few days later and forgot what I was carrying, and cut the crap out of my finger! Pulled the knife out slow or something don't know what happened but that I was bleeding Be careful!
