Have any of yall bought a cqc-6k and tried to mount it for left hand carry? i tried and the screws just drop in. its like they made the holes bigger or something like that. ill be calling kershaw on monday but wanted to see if anyone had the same issues.

Screws are too short for lefty carry. Try contacting KAI to get some of the appropriate length. It seems to be an endemic issue with their budget framelocks.

This may be a "budget" knife but, design went into it before mass production. Is that not where quality control is exercised? The designation R/L is not correct. Should read R and L with optional screws the buyer needs order and wait a month for. This knife would have been a great folder if was possible to convert to left hand. If you need the screws, call KAI, they are aware and say it was an engineering problem. Quote from website - "The pocketclip is reversible for left- or right-handed carry". Just a little venting, I really wanted to carry this knife, wish the company had noticed this prior.
