Kershaw Ener-G 1740 Deep Carry/Low Rider

Long time lurker looking for some info.

I recently purchased a Kershaw Ener-G 1740 that was on clearance at Sears. I would like to change the clip so that I can deep carry it. I am aware of the titanium clips from usaknifemaker and those are on my short list of options. However, when I was searching the forums and the internet I saw that some people are able to use the Kershaw Knockout's clip, and I presume the Cryo, Piston, etc, on other knives. That leads to two questions.

1. Does anyone know if the Knockout's clip will fit on the Ener-G?
2. Has anyone ad any success with the usaknifemaker clips on the Ener-G?

I don't believe the Knockout's clip will fit the 1740, but if it did it would be at an odd angle and that could not be preferable. I've put the Knockout's clip on a few Kershaws by simply drilling and tapping my own holes. If that's the clip you want, then I would recommend trying to accommodate it. I don't know which titanium clip you're talking about, so unfortunately I can't comment on it.
