Hello fellas,

I came across a kershaw ener-g that says "First Production 1 of 500" on the back side of blade(clip side)

So my question is, does this mean actually its #1 out of the 500 or just "one" of the 500 (hope that made sense)

Also, collectors piece?

Thanks!

All of the first run (500 total pcs) are marked 1 of 500.
It is not #1.
It is just 1 of 500.
I have one also.
Great knife btw.

Jason

All 500 say "1 of 500". Its a knife, use it.

Let me rephrase my answer, it sounded rude and wasn`t mean`t to be. (too much coffee, lol);)

Jason nailed it. The 1st 500 pieces are etched "1 of 500". They are no different from the other production pieces other than the etching.

Yes, they can be collectible pieces to many who collect quality cutting tools and many will keep them in unused condition. When I was younger, I did. Now older, I have more fun using these fine cutting tools that so many companies are making these days, Kershaw being one of those on top of the list.

Cheers,
Dave

Dave, thanks for taking the time and "revising" that.

Thanks again, Chris
