I just got a Kershaw Ener-G II, which is amazing by the way, fastest flipper I've ever had and great workmanship. Mine has a gray G10 handle with Trac Tec inserts on both sides (though the Kershaw website shows an all black G10 version now, is that what they are going to?). Anyway, love the looks of the knife, but why did they put the Trac Tec on the clip side? I could see the reason if you could reverse the clip for left handers, but you can't, so its usefulness is limited anyway, and it makes the knife very hard to remove from your pocket unless you bend the clip outward, which is what I did. I guess slightly more of it is exposed if you use tip down carry, but I prefer tip up. The Storm only has Trac Tec on the non-clip side, which makes more sense to me. I don't want them to lose the trac tec stuff altogether on this knife, as its makes it much more visually interesting for one thing, but I just don't know if they should have put it on that clip side scale. Not a big deal, I don't mind having to bend the clip, I have the proper torx drivers ect. but might be a pain for some non-knife people.
