Kershaw ET--tip of blade hitting spring in handle

I recently purchased a Kershaw ET. It is a cool knife, however the tip of the blade seems to be slightly kissing the spring in the triangular flipper part of the handle and is putting a small indentation in the part of the blade which is making contact. I'm not sure if this is a design issue, or if it is unique to my own knife. Does anyone else have an ET and share a similar experience?

The one that I messed around with did not have this issue--Kershaw's customer service is excellent, send the knife in and they'll take care of you.

Also check out the Kershaw subforum here on bladeforums.

It was a problem with my particular knife. I received it in the mail today from the seller and 5 hours later shipped it off to Kershaw. Fantastic....
