Went to my local Wal-Mart to get an oil change yesterday, and wandered over to the knife cabinet, (I am not addicted, I am not addicted,....), and saw a knife they haven't had before called a Kershaw Echo.

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with this knife?

There was a thread about this knife a few weeks back, and people seemed to have high hopes for it. I think Normark has even made a pretty neat sheath for the Echo.

I was going to get the Companion, but I might wait for the reviews on this one before doing so...

Hey The Last.....

Yaaa it's a Great blade...Real decent knife for the price...

Here is a picture of the Echo with one of my sheaths..

The only thing that bothered me about the Echo was the big "CHINA" embossed on the side...

Some wet/dry emery paper took it right off neatly,,and with a heatgun I heat polished the scale..You can't even tell its there..

Buy it,,you can't go wrong its a nice knife for what you will spend..

I first saw this knife when I was at my local shop and knew I had to have it because of the handle - looked like it came right off a Whirlwind which is sooooo comfortable. For $30 you can't go wrong with this knife. The sheath is kinda cheesy but what do you expect for that price. I too sanded off the "CHINA" the first day I had it . ;)
