Hey Moose,
The G-10 Leek is a GREAT EDC pocket knife. I'm at my shop right now and don't have my camera, but when I get home later I'll post some pics for you.

I can say right now though, that the G-10 Leek will definitely satisfy you. The G-10 has a great texture that isn't too abrasive, but grabs your hand for a really firm feel. The blade is S30V steel, sharp as heck out of the box, and the stonewash finish is a really cool change of pace. It's got speedsafe assisted opening as well.

I'd go ahead and get one:thumbup:

I'm not familiar with the G-10 version but I edc'd a SS handled Leek for a couple of years. Great knife, but I finally got tired of the slippery grip of the smooth stainless version...the G-10 scales undoubtedly fix that issue.
Mine had a Sandvic blade and held an edge well, the S30V of the G-10 model
will be even better, no doubt.

The SpeedSafe opening is a gas ! :)

I have one of the G-10 Leeks and it is a great knife.
The G-10 has plenty of grip and like the others have
said, the S30V blade rocks. Takes a great edge and
holds it very nicely and the AO fires really well. I think
you'll be very pleased with it.

Great Leek, but looking at it makes me want to get a OD-1 (when it gets released)!!

I have a g-10 Leek, it shares pocket time in a rotation that includes several Benchmades. The g-10 is very grippy, and the s30v is a good choice for this blade. Strong assisted opening, the AO works very well; would advise discretion when opening around sheeple. The scales on thjis knife make it slightly wider than the standard framelock Leek, something I consider a plus. The blade tip is a tad fragile imho, just take care to use it in a manner consistent with its design and you won't have any problems. If you do, Kershaw provides excellent support

I have an SS Leek... but EDC a Benchmade Grip.
I personally prefer 154cm to S30V, but also the Leek has a very thin tip, almost 1/3 of the blade length seems like it would be very easy to break off, where-as the Benchmade is leaps and bounds better in terms of blade design, in my opinion.

Having EDC'd the G-10 and the new D2 Leek, I like the D2 better. It has a thin profile, and is more affordable. That being said, if you like a bit thicker handle, definitely get the G10.

The difference in the steels is marginal at best.
