Kershaw G-10 Tyrade or ZT 0350?

What are the benefits of the ZT 0350 over the G-10 Tyrade? Does anyone have a comparison shot of these 2 together? Any other opinions on either of them?

Just for a frame of reference, I really like my Spyderco Military and carry it most of the time when not at the office. Most of my other knives are more in the 3" and under category.

Thanks for the info.

The Tyrade is simply more knife for the money. Construction is almost identical.

The 0350 is smaller and available in a black blade. If you don't care for those things, get a Tyrade.

Both are very solid knives. I've messed with quite a few 0350s and one Tyrade now.

I guess that is really what I was wondering. Is the 0350 worth the difference in money?

Same liners (though the Tyrades have a milled recess for the torsion bar only the 0350KW has this), same pivot, same body screws, same g10 handle slabs.

The blade steel is different, but I prefer the CPMD2 on the Tyrade myself.

Short answer to a more complicated question. NO.

The G10 Tyrade is a smoking hot deal, brought to you in a very limited run and an insane price point b/c Kershaw had some spare parts kicking around the warehouse. Get one while you can. You can always get a 350 later. You won't be disappointed.

Exactly!! Couldn't have said it better, probably couldn't say it as well either!:D:thumbup:

Just got a tan Tryade today. I have to say I am extremely impressed, it is a much beefier knife than I had expected. I usually carry a Spyderco Military or a JYD II. The tryade is very similar in shape to the JYD but much more, same general ergonomics, very comfortable in the hand. The blade is significantly thicker and extremely sharp out of the box. I think it would be very hard to beat this knife at the price point also even if it was the same price as the 350.

I think folks just don't realize how good a deal they are getting with the Tyrade. Thats why I have 6 of 'em! Oh yeah, the blade on the Tyrade is .157" thick, while the 0350 is .125" thick, if that makes a difference for you.

Thanks for all the input guys. I definitely want to pick up a Tyrade. I really like the Orange G-10...need to grab one before they are all gone.
